Notes

Japanese Noise Vol. 7

This a nice combination of Noise artists. Plus, you get to benefit from my foolhardiness. I was standing right at stage front about 2 feet away from a speaker stack, which was bad for my hearing, but good for the recording. It’s also dangerous because that is the spot where the Big Inc typically makes his entry to the floor, if he’s in the mood. The KK Null piece here is exceptionally good. Anla Courtis is an Argentinian musician, but I don’t know much else about him. Midway through his set, he climbed into a big red bag and writhed around on the floor, perhaps a tribute to Yoko Ono’s late ‘60’s Bagism. I have some marvelous vid footage of the Incapacitants that I took with my camera, but if I’m reading the Dime rules correctly, they are ineligible for posting. There are a bunch of pics included though. Lastly, the final encore track featured MSBR, KK Null, and Anla Courtis, but is not included here because Null released it officially.
