Notes: First time seeing Grails, as I only recently started giving them the attention they deserve, and it turned out to be an awesome show. This was not the most orthodox of venues, the bar is 7ft away from stage, dead center, leaving the audience to disperse in a U shape, so I pretty much just sat next to a speaker to avoid the awkwardness of the venue layout. The results are great, drums are pretty much recorded unamplified and they're not too overbearing in the recording, even if they sounded super loud. Really proud of this one and this is being put out with minimal compression, an excellent recording (ambient noise floor is -57dB!). Ambient interludes were split at beginning of tracks. Chuck Johnson was the opening act.
