Notes

Admittedly not a huge fan of James Blake prior to this show, this was one of the biggest surprises of the festival for me, after I thankfully decided to give him a try in one of the few "dead spots" in the festival (if there was such a thing). I always thought he was a bit too slow for me, even if is talent as a musician is indisputable. This isn't the case when watching Mr. Blake live, even though you could ask for MUCH better than watching him, where a lot of the subtleties of his music get lost in the midst of crowd noise and noise coming from other stages of the festival. Definitely grabbed my interest in watching him in a proper venue in the future. The recording is pretty amazing and only slightly edited, having left on a lot of that dubstep wompwompwomp that sounds so good on headphones.
