Notes

La Dispute is a post-hardcore band from Grand Rapids, Michigan who formed in 2004. The current line-up is lead vocalist Jordan Dreyer, drummer Brad Vander Lugt, guitarist Chad Sterenberg and bass guitarist Adam Vass. The band released their debut album Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair in November 2008. Their third studio album, Rooms of the House, was released on March 18, 2014. This tour was promoting that album.

Taped from the upstairs balcony of Whelans which was a great vantage point for the whole thing. This was one of the first 14+ shows I'd been to in a while so it was great to see so many kids out a hardcore gig in Dublin, the downstairs area was packed and sweaty and I'm getting too old for that carry on. Set was a nice mix of the new album and the best of the older stuff, nice change for a hardcore band to play well over an hour too. There was a mistake splitting King Park into two by accident but its not noticeable when listening.

This recording is also available in 96/24 but since its just recorded with the R09's internal mics I'll probably just distribute the 16/44 edition.
